OVERVIEW
The Koechner Euthanizing Device KED is a mechanical cervical dislocation device designed for use in large sizes of poultry and turkey.
Features
This device is 40 inches in length. It has the same gear type design as the KED C. Because of this design, it provides extra leverage, which makes it easier to use on turkeys up to 75 pounds.
Designed to promote minimal distress on birds and the person administrating or observing
Cervical dislocation is an accepted method by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Large size birds
Model T will work on large size birds as well as heavy turkeys. But, the longer handles may make it more cumbersome on some of the smaller birds
